Founding Partner /CEO, Neurensics

It is with pleasure and ambition that I apply for a seat in the board of the NMSBA. I believe that my background as VP and CEO of several of the finest Dutch advertising agencies and my recent job as Managing Partner in Neurensics, makes me a qualified member. My education and experience as marketeer makes me a logical ‘other half’ of a neuromarketing association, while my present tasks includes all commercial activities such as sales, marketing and communication of our neuromarketing agency Neurensics. I have board experience in the recent past as VP EMEA and board member of Worldwide Partners; a partnership of entrepreneurial advertising agencies. Last but not least; being the spiritual father of the NMSBA I feel greatly involved in the ambitions and goals of the NMSBA. I believe that Miss Carla Nagel and myself living so close together in The Netherlands, can be of great value in the early days of the roll out of organization: short lines, easy communication and a personal click.

Given the investments in time, effort and money Neurensics has put in the NMSBA so far, my company - being one of the few dedicated fMRI-research agencies and at the forefront of commercialized fMRIresearch - believes that the success of the NMSBA is of great importance to this young industry. Our good contacts with important stakeholders such as Philips (MR-technology) and clients with huge international opportunities (Unilever, Heineken, Nestlé) can be an advance. To end my application I’d like to state that a good balanced board needs a member having a commercial background. All things considered neuromarketing is a cross over and the B in NMSBA stands for the business approach of our new found association.
